During my experience with Liferay Portal I had this problem several times. When uploading a portlet (new or a new version of an existing one) Liferay says the following:
Copying 1 file..
Copying 1 file..
.......
.........war copied successfully.
Deployment will start in a few seconds.

Google Code Jam 2010

Google has open the registrations for this year Code Jam competition! Until May 8th you can apply (if you like coding as a professional or as hobbyist) to enter the qualification round. After you pass the elimination phase and solve the first problems then you can participate in up to 3 more online rounds (if you pass the previous ones). The first 25 coders will go to Dublin for the on-site finals (and the winner takes $5000).
This is an issue that I have tried to find answers on the internet because it is a big problem that I had.

AI-MAS 2010

Two weeks ago I preferred the sleeping wagon of CFR instead of the driver seat of my car so I could travel to Bucharest where the AI-MAS Winter Olympics event took place and where Ropardo was one of the invitees. The reason I’m writing this so late is because just yesterday I came back from my vacation that started right after. Perfect excuse right ?:) Anyway, about the event now.

From March 1st 2009 Wittmann & Partner Computer Systems S.R.L. will become ROPARDO S.R.L.
Due to the synergy’s created in the last 2 years between Wittmann & Partner Computer Systems SRL and Ropardo AG – majority shareholder (51%) – since 1 March 2009 it was decided to start a re-branding campaign for Wittmann & Partner towards Ropardo SRL.
The re-branding process will be implemented in the first semester of 2009. This is a transition process that will be sustained by training and communications programs for employs, partners and business environment.
