We will reveal the mystery from the beginning and say that the deep dive into a PHP frontend at Sibiu Web Meetup #28 was about Livewire. With elegant humour and easiness in switching from Romanian to English and back to Romanian, like any true developer, the speakers Nick and Diana made a comprehensive presentation and exemplification of Livewire.
By definition, Lifewire is a full-stack framework for Laravel that makes building dynamic interfaces simple, without leaving the comfort of Laravel. Or, to put it otherwise, it helps web developers to do full-stack development on the front-end. If you wonder why Livewire and not other tools to do this, we will only give you the short answer: it allows you to write UI on the server, interfaces are rendered on the server and surface to the browser only when the client queries them. Because, well, we all know Jeff Raskin is right in saying that “As far as the customer is concerned, the interface is the product.”
